This is a collaborative apparel collection with the animated film "PERFECT BLUE," directed by Satoshi Kon, which was released in Japan in 1998.
In order to recreate the t-shirts from the 90s when the film was released, all printing is done in Japan. The "PERFECT BLUE" logo is silkscreen printed, while the key visual, which is also used on the DVD jacket, is inkjet printed using a special method.
The body is made of jersey material using yarn made on an open-end spinning machine. The rough texture, which contains air, is reminiscent of the film's boundary between reality and fantasy.
